Tide Head - Peter Thomas Ryan, of Tide Head and formerly of Miramichi, passed away in Tide Head, on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at the age of 62.

Born in Pine Glen, N.B., on May 12, 1949,  he was the son of the late Harold and Mary (Manderson) Ryan.  He was a labourer by occupation.

He is survived by two sisters, Frances Blakely (Buddy) and Elsie Mazerolle, all of Miramichi; two brothers, Eldon Ryan (Beth), of St. Sosime and Kevin Ryan, of Miramichi; brother in law, Raymond Murdock; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by two sisters, Cheryl Murdock and Winnifred Lane.

Visitation was at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., on Sunday.  A public memorial service was held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, January 16, 2012, at 11 am, conducted by Rev. Charlene Maguire MacKnight.  Music for the service was provided by Mr. William Sweezey and members of St. Andrews United Church Choir.  The hymns were "The Lords My Shepherd" and "Amazing Grace".  A special tribute was offered by Twlia Duthie and a scripture was read by Linda Murdock.   Interment will be in the Black River Community Cemetery, later in the spring.  Following the service a reception with the family was held at St. Andrews United Church, provided by the Princess Street unit of the U.C.W.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Miramichi Chapter of the S.P.C.A, or any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.  Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, telephone 773-3492, or messages of condolence may be sent online to www.adamsfh.ca

Since the day the skies turned gray
It was then I thought of you
As the rain pondered upon my tin-roof
Tears from my eyes shown how much I missed you

It never crossed my mind that I''''d feel so blue
That on that very day I''''d lose a piece of you inside of me
Who would have thought It be you to leave so soon?
Leaving behind the ones you love and memories

I''''m sure you''''ve gone to a better place
Garnished with angel wings, Halo, Harps and other things
You''''re probably looking down from heaven up above
Sending out smiles with days of sunshine and showers of love

Not a day that goes by I don''''t think of you
How I wished you were still here to stay
All the fun and times we spent together
Your laughter and your smile you''''ve always gave

These are moments I cherish and hold so dear
Moments spent and everlasting memories
Even though Its hard to accept the fact that you''''re gone
The distance between you and I are only...

Love always Denise
