In the afternoon hours of April 19, 2019, Good Friday, Jane was called home peacefully into our Father’s Loving Arms. Jane Marie was born September 4th, 1931 in Portage River, NB.  She was the daughter of the late Martin and Lina (Thibodeau) Roussell.

She had incredible deep faith and prayed for hours each day.  Jane loved her Family.  Everything was about “My Family.”  She enjoyed simple life pleasures:  birds, animals, bees, nature in its entirety and countless little drives, countless card games as well as Bingo.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children:  Wayne (Carol) of Colpitts Settlement, Gail (Tommy) of Brantford, ON, Marina (Cam) of Miramichi, Alleen (J.P.) of Leduc, AB, Bev (Martin) of St. George, ON, Christina (Bernard) of Miramichi, and Jimmy (Nicole) of Thunder Bay, ON; Special Grandchildren:  Dereck,  Steven, Patricia, Laura, Erica, Jordan, Janelle and Silver; Special Great-Grandchildren:  Jacob, Caleb, and Talon;  Special Great-Great Grandchildren:  Lincoln, Weston Wyatt, and Willow;  Special Nephew, Dwayne Varga of Regina, SK; Sister, Lorna Greenburg of Florida, US.  She was predeceased by her parents; beloved Husband, Mike Searle; Beloved Son, Andrew; Very Special Friend, Greg Paul; Sisters:  Hilda, Leona, and Mary Catherine;  Brothers:  Elmer, Angus, Benny, Issac and Albert.

At the request of the family, there was no visitation.  A memorial service was held at St. Andrew’s United Church, Miramichi on Friday April 26, 2019 at 2 pm with Rev. Charlene Maguire MacKnight officiating.  Music for the service was by Mrs. Jacqueline Allain and the hymns were "On Eagle's Wings", "Thank You, (Mom's Song)", "In the Bulb There is a Flower", "Here I Am, Lord" and the recessional hymn was "Just a Closer Walk With Thee".  The lighting of the Memory Candle was done by grandson Dereck Searle and great great grandson Lincoln Searle.  Family membrances was given by granddaughters Patricia Nowlan and Janelle Just and the the scripture reading was done by Janelle Just.  Interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery later in the spring.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Mission & Service Fund of the United Church of Canada, or donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.  Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, telephone 773-3492 or messages of condolence may be sent online to www.adamsfh.ca
