     1952 – 2019

It is with saddened hearts the family of Wilson Trevors, husband of Barbara (Gouchie) Trevors of Miramichi, announce his passing on Friday, June 7, 2019 surrounded by his loving family at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 67.

Born in Chatham, NB, on February 24, 1952, he was the son of the late Hubert and Margaret (Smith) Trevors.

Wilson was a retired employee of the UPM Kymmene Groundwood Mill where he worked for 38 years until his retirement in 2008.

Wilson loved Nascar and loved his races on TV.  He was able to see his favorite drivers Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Jr. at both Daytona and New Hampshire Speedways.  He was an avid Blue Jays fan who loved coaching them to some wins from the comfort of his living room.  Summers were spent at his favorite place, the trailer at the campground.  Winters were spent on his Yamaha Sled on the trails where he was also a member of the Miramichi Valley Snowmobile Club.  His days were spent with his fur baby Casey and being a doting husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by the love of his life his wife of 47 years Barbara (Gouchie) Trevors; his daughter, Sherri (Herbie Blakely) of Miramichi; his son, Chris (Cindy) of Grande Praire, AB; sister, Valerie Trevors of Edmonton, AB; brother, Norris of Saint John, NB; his beloved grandchildren Connor and Noah Blakely, Alecia Trevors and Kyrin Mitchell; as well as several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents, brother, Delbert and sister, Karen.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the exceptional care provided by Dr. Gerald Losier, Dr. Michelle Cassie, Dr. Coleman Black, ICU Nurses, Josee, Kim, Holly, Sara W., Pam, Debbie and his favorite nurse Sherri.  Our family will never be able to thank you all enough for taking such loving care of Wilson and his family.

At Wilson’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service held.  A private family service will be held to honour Wilson’s life.  Interment will be held at a later date.

As expression of sympathy, donations in Wilson’s memory may be made to the Miramichi S.P.C.A or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements are entrusted to Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, telephone 773-3492 or messages of condolence may be sent online to www.adamsfh.ca
