Dear Paul and family, I would like to express my sorrow at the passing of your beautiful mother, grandmother and great grand mother. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to visit with her and Paul (with my father Richard Clements and my sister Kim) at your home last fall. Great Aunt Bessie was my mother Betty Orr’s Aunt and sister of Betty Orr’s late father Fred Orr. Your mother seemed like the sweetest of ladies. As the last surviving member of the family to which she was born and raised...I can only imagine the glorious reunion which she is now experiencing. What a wonderful gift to have enjoyed her company for such a long time. May you and your family be blessed at this time.

To Bessie’s family, My sincere sympathy to all of you. She was a lovely lady and you will miss her greatly. I had not seen her for many years but I had news from Ruth and Helen of Aunt Bessie and her health, her ableness in these latter years, her trips with Paul and her enjoyment of visitors . Paul, my thoughts and admiration are with you for the love , devotion and fun you provided to your Mom over the years helping her to live to 101! May God hold you all in the palm of His hand.

Our sincere condolences to all my cousins and families on the passing of their Mom, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, and my Aunt Bessie. It has been awhile since I visited her, but I will never forget her warm smile that always greeted me at the door. It was usually followed by delicious home cooked food. She was always interested in what was happening with me and my family. Keep comfort in all those wonderful memories...

Dear Art, Paul, Doug & David,

I am so sorry for your loss. Bessie treasured everything about her boys right until the very end and I know that saying goodbye has to be so difficult. Bessie was truly a delight of a woman and I became very found of her in the 17 years that she was part of my family. Having lost my own grandmothers early in life, it was so lovely to develop a relationship with her that resembled that of a grandmother/granddaughter during my adult life. I will hold dear to the many times we had together in deep conversation. Even after these chats became difficult due to her hearing loss, her radiant smile always made up for the silence.

Kent and I were so blessed to share a piece of our boy’s life with her. She didn’t really need to say anything to explain how she felt about James and Ben as it was obvious that she adored being in their presence and they too loved her so much!

Paul thank-you so much for the many years of commitment and sacrifice for your mother’s well being. She was so fortunate to have the opportunity to live an amazing long life in her childhood home and this without a doubt is because of your devotion to her.

In the days ahead, I hope that you may find peace knowing that we will never forget her. She will always hold a special place in our hearts. Sending my deepest regrets for not being able to make it home from Calgary for her final farewell.

Love always,

Evan Cady

Dave and Becky, Philip and Kevin, and their significant others..
We were very saddened to hear of the passing of Dave's Mother. It's very hard to lose one's Mom, no matter her age or yours. She is usually the 'heart of the home', and the 'glue' that holds the family together. I know you visited her often, and enjoyed her company, and she, yours. I pray that the Lord is giving you His comfort, strength, and peace, a kind of peace that only He can give, during these difficult days leading up to her "Going Home Service", and the temporary good-byes. And may He keep His loving arms wrapped around you in the days of adjustment and the taking care of many details ahead....until you meet again. Praise God that we have that Hope, and can know for sure where we are going, and that we will, beyond a shadow of a doubt, be together with our loved ones again in the presence of the Lord.. Amen... Our deepest sympathy..
