In Loving Memory of Albert M. Martin
1953 – 2025
Albert M. Martin of Miramichi, New Brunswick, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on April 30, 2025, at the age of 72.
Born in Baie-Sainte-Anne, New Brunswick, on March 22, 1953, he was the son of the late Maurice and Albertine Martin. Albert was a fisherman by trade. He loved bowling, playing cribb, baseball, and boxing in his younger days. He also enjoyed hunting.
Albert is survived by his wife, Rosalie (Nash) Martin; two daughters, Tina Kingston (Allen), and Chastity Martin (Stanley Deon), both of Miramichi, New Brunswick; five grandchildren, Abigail (Xavier), Lucas (Emily), Amelia, Lily, and Zachery; two sisters, Jocelyn Manuel (Marc), and Paula Martin (Denis), both of Baie-Sainte-Anne, New Brunswick; one brother, Jean-Marc (Janice) of Baie-Sainte-Anne, New Brunswick; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; sister, Brenda; brother, Arsene; and brother-in-law, Alonzo.
Visitation was held at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, New Brunswick, on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM, and Funeral Liturgy of the Word to followed at 1:00 PM from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, with The Reverend Father David Rioux as celebrant. Music for the service was recorded music and the songs were "Amazing Grace" by Alan Jackson, "How Great Thou Art" by Alan Jackson and "Fare Thee Well My Love" by The Rankin Family. The scripture readings was read by granddaughter, Amelia and daughter, Chastity. The eulogy was presented by grandson Lucas.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Percy’s Place or New Brunswick Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
