Annabel M. Trevors
1923 – 2023
Annabel Mary Trevors, wife of the late George W. Trevors of Douglasfield passed away at Bridgeview Hall, Shannex on January 15, 2023, at the age 99. Three weeks shy of her 100th birthday.
Born in Chatham, NB, on February 5, 1923, she was the daughter of the late John and Anne (Clancy) Fraser. She worked at the Stedman's Store (Five & Ten) as a cashier and also in the cosmetics department for many years. She was a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church.
Annabel is survived by three sons: Keith Trevors of Miramichi, Ronald Trevors (Joanne) and Wesley Trevors (Wendy) all of Douglasfield; eleven grandchildren: Anitra, Aundrea, Bradley, Kimberly, Kelly, Stephen, Jennifer, Amy, Dean, Sean and Amanda; four great-grandchildren: Thomas, Jackson, Oliver and David; as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, George W. Trevors; three brothers: George, Donald and Jack; and four sisters: Alice, Annie, Priscella and Margurite.
Visitation occured at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi on Friday, January 20th, from 4-8 PM. Funeral service occured at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 750 Water St., Miramichi on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 11 AM with The Reverend Perry Cooper, The Reverend Canon Sandy MacPherson and The Reverend Deacon Eddie Quann officiating. Music for the service was provided by Mrs. Janet Stothart and St. Paul's Anglican Church Choir and the hymns were "As The Deer Pants For The Water", "Be Still", "Breathe On Me, Breath Of God", "Let There Be Love Shared Among Us", and the recessional hymn was "Because He Lives". Tributes were presented by Keith Trevors and Kimberly Corcoran. Interment will be in St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery later in the spring.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery, St. Paul’s Anglican Church Memorial Fund, or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
