Anne M. Donaldson-Stymiest

         1938 - 2021

Anne M. Donaldson-Stymiest of Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital with her family by her side, on July 26, 2021, at the age of 82.

Born in Chatham on December 11, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ida (MacKay) Meahan. She worked for BMO in Chatham for 30 years.

Anne is survived by her son, Joe Donaldson (Dawn) of Windsor, ON; two grandchildren: Torin and Tegan of Windsor, ON; one sister, June Allain (Albert) of Miramichi; one sister-in-law, Wanda Meahan of Ottawa, ON; and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents; two husbands: Danny Donaldson and Jack Stymiest; four brothers: Blair (Ella), Wallace (Kay), Allan and Jack (Penny); and one sister, Jackie Ronan (Donny). 

A PUBLIC visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi on Thursday evening only July 29, 2021, from 7-9 PM.  A PUBLIC Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Bartibog Bridge, NB on Friday, July 30, 2021, at 11 AM with Father Peter Aloo, and Father Leon Creamer as Celebrants.  Interment will be held in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.

Please Note: As per updated Phase 2 COVID-19 regulations, masks remain mandatory in all public places, and social distancing is still required between those who are not friends and family.

The family would like to thank Sarah & Colin Williston and the staff of Riverbend Residence for the love, care and compassion they gave Anne.
