In Loving Memory of Audrey M. Arbeau

1937 – 2023

Audrey Mae Arbeau, born October 18, 1937, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2023, at Shannex-Bridgeview Hall in Douglastown.

Audrey worked hard at odd jobs alongside her loving husband, Alvin, for over 67 years before he passed away in 2017.

She had two children, Campbell (Geraldine) of Saint John, and Janie (Keith) of Napan; four grandchildren: Penny, David (Nancy), Caitlin (Trent), and Michael (Sarah); and three great-grandchildren: Jackson, Gracelyn and Zoey.

A godly woman of prayer, Audrey attended the Pentecostals of Miramichi for over 50 years. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Audrey loved to knit, bake, and enjoyed keeping her house clean…and warm! Audrey loved her wood stove.

She loved the statement “Lord Help Me To Remember That Nothing Is Going To Happen To Me Today That You and I Together Can’t Handle”…it was displayed proudly in her home for many years. Audrey prayed faithfully every day for her family, for which they are eternally grateful.

Visitation was held at Pentecostals of Miramichi, 140 King St., Miramichi, on Monday, August 21, 2023, from 11 – 12 Noon, followed by a funeral service at 12 Noon with Pastor Peter Long and Pastor Ron Carroll officiating.  Music for the service was provided by Nancy Arbeau and the congregational songs were "Wait Until You See Me", "Heaven For Me" and "I Am Going To A City", and the song "That Sounds Like Home To Me" was sung by David Arbeau.  The eulogy was presented by Caitlin Walker and remarks were given by Reverend Brent Carter and David Arbeau.  Immediately following the service, a reception was held.  Interment will be at a later date. Honorary pallbearers were Joan Carter, Donna Henry, Margie Ashford, Jean Carroll, Neil Carroll, Peter Pelkey and Edward Carter.  Pallbearers were Trent Walker, Eddie Arbeau, Shawn Carroll, Robbie Dunnett, Wayne Young and Bill Harris.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Pentecostals of Miramichi Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
