In Loving Memory of Byron L. Eastwood

1943 – 2023

Byron Leslie Eastwood, husband of Betty Anne (Richard) Eastwood of Loggieville, NB, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at his side at Percy’s Place, Miramichi, New Brunswick, on Monday, November 13, 2023, at the age of 80.

Born in Hoyt, NB, on October 27, 1943, Byron was the son of the late Leslie and Lillian (Hamilton) Eastwood.  He was an Electrician by trade, prior to his retirement.

Byron is survived by his loving wife, Betty Anne (Richard) Eastwood, sons: Ryan (Liala) Eastwood, Ashley Eastwood, Jody (Bridgette) Holden, Cory (Kelly) Holden, and Toby (Kelley) Holden; daughters: Terri Lynn (Keith) Mills and Angela (Joel) Holden; one brother, George (Margie) Eastwood; and grandchildren: Leo, Lucas, Rita, Sadie, MacKenzie, Devon, Case, Aidan, Laura, Curtis, Lindsay, Zach and William; special great-granddaughter, Adleigh.  He was predeceased by his parents; sister, Kathleen; brother, William; and father and mother-in-law, Xavier and Rita Richard.

Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi, on Thursday evening, November 16, 2023, from 7-9 PM only.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Michael’s By The Sea Catholic Church, 7321 Route 117, Bay du Vin (Bayside), on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 11 AM, with The Reverend Father Dan Bastarache as Celebrant.  Interment will be in St. Andrew’s Catholic Cemetery, Loggieville.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Andrew’s Cemetery Fund, Percy’s Place, or an act of kindness would be appreciated by the family.
