In Loving Memory of Carol MacDonald
1950 – 2024
Carol Ann MacDonald of Lower Newcastle, NB, passed away at home on September 25, 2024, at the age of 74.
Born in Goose Bay, Labrador, on February 20, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Edith (Deamond) MacDonald. Carol was involved with Air Cadets and attended Sts. Peters & Paul Catholic Church, Bartibog, NB.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Wendy Pitre; grandchild, Sydney Pitre; brother, Wayne MacDonald (Ann); as well as niece, Krista; and nephew, Erik. She was predeceased by her parents; and sister, Colleen MacDonald in September 2023.
As per Carol’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside prayer will be held at Sts. Peters & Paul Catholic Cemetery, 5 Bartibog Church Rd., Bartibog, NB on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 1 pm with The Reverend Father Peter Chimaobi as Celebrant.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
