Caroline M. MacDonald
1947 – 2021
Caroline Mary MacDonald, wife of Carmen MacDonald of Black River Bridge, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on September 9, 2021, at the age of 73.
Born in Newcastle on September 18, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Marcel Sr. and Kathleen (Henshaw) Beaulieu. Caroline was a very loving, caring, and compassionate person, especially for her family. She had a great love for coffee and bingo. She was a Homemaker and worked very hard taking care of the home and raising her family.
Caroline is survived by her husband, Carmen MacDonald; three daughters: Kathleen Benoit (Joel) of Miramichi, Sharon Morris (Perry) of Black River Bridge, and Wanda MacDonald (Mark Savoy) of Miramichi; two twin sons: Toby MacDonald (Pauline) of Glenwood, and Todd MacDonald (Helen) of Miramichi; ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers: Marcel Jr. Beaulieu (Donalda) of Riverview, and David Beaulieu (Valerie) of Moncton. She was predeceased by her parents, and sister, Sandra.
A visitation was held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, from 2-4 PM, and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial was Celebrated at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church (Loggieville) on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 11 AM with Father Dan Bastarache as Celebrant. Musical selections included: "Here I am Lord", "Be Not Afraid", "One Day At A Time", and "On Eagles Wings". Scripture readings were by Stacey Budd and Shayn Sutherland. The Honorary Pallbearers were: Shayn Sutherland and Aldeo Doiron. The Active Pallbearers were: Justin Morris, Chad Morris, Travis MacDonald, Billy-Joe Geikie, Patrick Geikie, and Kevin Ross. Interment was held in the Black River Community Cemetery, Black River Bridge, NB.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Lung Association or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
