In Loving Memory of Cécile Chiasson
1918 – 2023
Mrs. Cécile Chiasson, wife of the late Edgar Chiasson passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at the age of 105.
She lived in Miramichi but formerly in St-Sauveur. Born in Bas-Caraquet on February 20, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Césaire Gionet and the late Marie-Adélaide Plourde.
She is survived by four daughters: Donalda (late Frank), Diane, Lauriane (Richard) and Adrienne (Bernard); five sons: Wilfred (Donna), Jean-Claude (Rose), Jean-Eude (Glena), Emanuel (Cheryl) and Robert (Mary Ann), as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ms. Chiasson was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by one son, Donald, and her many siblings.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Sainte-Bernadette-Soubirous Church, St-Sauveur on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 2 pm.
