In Loving Memory of Cleveland “Cleve” Joudry
1936 – 2024
Cleveland “Cleve” Robert Joudry of Bay du Vin, NB, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on November 4, 2024, at the age of 88.
Born in Chatham, NB, on March 27, 1936, he was the son of the late Stanley and Isabella (Aiton) Joudry. Cleve worked as an Iron Worker, mostly on bridges, and was a member of the Branch #3 Royal Canadian Legion. In his younger years he was a Peacekeeper with the Canadian Army. He was an adherent of St. Andrew’s United Church.
Cleve is survived by his sons: William “Bill” Joudry (Gisele) of Saint John, NB, and Daniel Joudry (Kate) of Winnipeg, MB; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Marjorie Joudry; son, Robert Joudry; daughter, Debora Ann Savoy; two sisters: Eva Stark, and Frances Taylor; as well as seven brothers: Gordon, Albert, George, Donald, Fred, Foster, and Leslie Joudry.
As per Cleve’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Graveside Service was held at Riverside Cemetery, Miramichi, NB, on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 2 PM, with The Reverend Charlene Maguire MacKnight officiating.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
