Born in Newcastle, New Brunswick, on November 25, 1976, he was the son of Gloria Gammon and the late Lunn Silliker. Corey worked at the Miramichi Regional Hospital in the kitchen as a chef.
Corey loved so many things, and his family was number one. Corey also enjoyed fishing, country music as he was Brad Paisley's number one fan! He loved cooking for others, he had so much creativity with food and activities, he adored spending time with his nieces and nephews, and he always knew how to have fun. He was full of pranks but was so fun loving. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

He was predeceased by his father, Lunn Silliker.
