In Loving Memory of Daryl C. Gammon
1971 – 2024
Daryl Clifford Gammon of Miramichi, passed away at Percy’s Place, Miramichi, New Brunswick, on February 20, 2024, at the age of 52.
Born in Chatham, New Brunswick, on November 24, 1971, he was the son of the late Keith and Lorraine (MacKnight) Gammon. Daryl worked for the Department of Transportation as part of the Bridge Crew.
Daryl is survived by his daughter, Jaiden Gammon of Tracadie; Jaiden’s mom, Jeannie; sister, Cynthia Creamer (John) of Miramichi; brother, Stephen Gammon (Tracy) of Miramichi; nieces and nephew: Brittany (Roger), Sarah (Hunter), Mason (Courtney) and Sydney (Shane); great-nephew, Jase; uncle, John (Charlene); aunt, Shirley (Sherman); his loving cat, Gus; as well as many cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Keith and Lorraine Gammon; grandparents: Betty and Clifford Gammon, and Frank and Hannah MacKnight.
As per Daryl’s request, there was no visitation. A private family and friend Celebration of Life was held at Adams Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 2 pm. Music for the service was "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" sung by the congregation and "The Parting Glass" and "Here For A Good Time" sung by Chopper Robinson. Family remembrances were presented by nieces: Brittany & Sarah and poems "Family Tree" read by niece, Sydney and "You Held My Hand" read by daughter, Jaiden. Also neighbor remembrances were presented by Judy Morrison and friend remembrances were presented by Allen Daigle and Chopper Robinson. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery later in the spring.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Percy’s Place would be appreciated by the family.
