David G. Patterson

    1958 – 2019

David Gerald Patterson, husband of Linda Arbeau Patterson of Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the age of 61.

Born in Sussex, NB, on May 1, 1958, he was the son of the late Charles and Alice Patterson.

He is survived by his wife Linda Arbeau Patterson; four daughters: Brittany (Marc) of Bathurst, Christina, Kimberly (Nathan) and Emma all of Miramichi; seven sons Mike of Miramichi, John (Jessica) of Moncton, Daniel of Edmonton, AB, Shawn (Cynthia) and Shane all of Miramichi, Christopher and Cory of Saint John; ten grandchildren; three sisters: Dorothy Westerberg, Joan Buchanan and Joanne Patterson all of Sussex and one brother, George Patterson (Holly) of Florida; sister-in-law Carolyn Arbeau of Calgary, AB; many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents, step-father Aldread Treadwell, step-sister Donna St. Couer, half-brother Gordon Moore and brother-in-law Sabin Westerberg.

Visitation was held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi on Friday from 7-9 pm.  Funeral service was held at Adams Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 1 pm with Major Vida Ryan and Major Leigh Ryan officiating.  Music for the service was provided by recorded music and the songs were “Sonny’s Dream”, “When I get to where I’m going”, “I believe in a place called heaven” and “The Dance”.  The eulogy was presented by Christina Arbeau.

Pallbearers were Daniel Arbeau, John Arbeau, Shane Arbeau Patterson, Francis Goodin, Roger Levy and Jason Dunnett.  Interment was held in Saint Agnes Anglican Cemetery, Gray Rapids, NB
