David T. Dickson

1946 – 2023

David Trevor Dickson of Miramichi, New Brunswick, passed away at his residence on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at the age of 76.

Born in Chatham, on October 17, 1946, he was the son of the late Howard and B. Louise (Trevors) Dickson.  He was a Labourer and Anglican by faith.

David is survived by his wife, Diane Dickson of Nackawic; one daughter, Kelly Dickson (Daniel McManus) of Nackawic; one son, Randy Dickson of Miramichi; seven grandchildren: Ryan, Joe, Jessica, Greg, Shanda, Shane, and Devon; half-sister, Christina Searle and half-brother, Jimmy Dickson.  He was predeceased by his parents, twin brother, George, half-brother, Andrew and step-parents: Jane Searle, Sylvio Paquet and Ward Duke.

Visitation occurred at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi, on Thursday, April 6, 2023, from 1-3 PM and funeral service followed at 3 PM from Adams Funeral Home Chapel with The Reverend Perry Cooper and The Reverend Canon Sandy Cooper officiating.  Music for the service was recorded music and the hymns were "Softly and Tenderly", "In the Garden" and "Amazing Grace" sung by Allan Jackson.  A tribute to her father was presented by Kelly Dickson.  Interment will be in St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery later in the spring.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, New Brunswick Lung Association, or Miramichi Community Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
