In Loving Memory of Diane Dickson

1942 – 2025

With deepest sympathy, we announce the passing of Theresa Diane (Olsen) Dickson of Miramichi (Loggieville), New Brunswick, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on March 15, 2025, at the age of 82.  

Born in Chatham, New Brunswick on June 16, 1942, Diane was the daughter of the late Jack and Voila (Robichaud) Olsen.

Diane is survived by her husband, Kenneth (Ken) Dickson, with whom she shared a wonderful 62 years together.  She is also survived by son, Steve Dickson (Natalie); daughter, Carla Allison (Len); three grandchildren: Colin Dickson (Joan), Lori-Anne Dickson, Chelsey Savoie (Jeremy); four great-grandchildren: Helena Daigle, Jack Dickson, Sierra Savoie, and Grayson Savoie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Diane is also survived by sisters: Elaine (late George Head), and Hilda (Billy Harris); step-sisters: Sharon MacDonald (Lockie), Betty Jenkins (Joey); half brothers: John Olsen, David Olsen, and half sister, Terry Mutch.

Diane is predeceased by son, Martin (Marty) Dickson; grandson, Brandon Kelly; brother, Wayne Olsen; and sister-in-law, Janine Olsen; sister, Jackie McCormack; and step-sister, Patsy Holland (Buddy).

Visitation was held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi, New Brunswick, on Wednesday Evening, March 19, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  Funeral service was held at Adams Funeral Home Chapel, 140 King St., Miramichi, New Brunswick, on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with Charles O'Regan, Linda Anderson, and Diane Anderson as Officiants.  Music for the service was provided by Lorraine Dickson, and the hymns were "The Old, Old Path", and "When Life Is Ended".  Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Miramichi, New Brunswick, later in the spring.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Pine Grove Cemetery Fund or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
