In Loving Memory of D. "Angela" Galliah

1939 – 2024

Doris “Angela” Galliah of Miramichi, New Brunswick, passed away at Shannex – Losier Hall, New Brunswick, on December 18, 2024, at the age of 85.

Born in Newcastle, New Brunswick, on October 24, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elodia (Robichaud) Galliah.  She was a homemaker, and a member of Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home Auxiliary for many years.  She attended St. Michael’s Basilica when she was able.

Angela is survived by one daughter, Carmen Moar (Jay) of Miramichi, NB; six grandchildren: Tyler Galliah of Miramichi, NB, Marissa Dawson (Seth) of Moncton, NB, Justin Galliah of Moncton, NB, Josh Moar (Mandy Fraser) of Moncton, NB, Jeremy Moar of Miramichi, NB, and Cole Moar of Miramichi, NB; two great-grandchildren: Xavier and River Dawson; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  She was predeceased by her parents; her son, Robbie; as well as five sisters, and three brothers.

As per the wishes of her family, there will be no visitation or funeral mass.  A graveside service will be held at St. Michael’s Cemetery later in the spring.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick, or Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated by the family.
