1944 – 2021 

Ellen Mary Malley, wife of Ronald Malley of Miramichi, passed away at her residence on July 7, 2021, at the age of 77.

Born in Chatham, on March 25, 1944, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Violet E. (Spray) Sickles.  She was the Store Manager of Zellers in Chatham, Newcastle, and Douglastown for many years.  She was Anglican by faith.

Ellen is survived by her husband, Ronald Malley; three daughters: Tammy Aube (Dan) of Ontario, Tina Malley of Moncton, and Carole Surgenor (Glenn) of Ontario; six grandchildren: Caila, Shyla, Joshua, James, Cole, and William; and one sister, Edith Smith (Duncan) of Calgary, AB.  She was predeceased by her parents, and one brother, Art Sickles.

A PUBLIC visitation was held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 10-11 AM.  Funeral service followed at 11 AM from Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Quann officiating. Music for the service was provided by Mrs. Janet Stothart and some of St. Paul's Anglican Church Choir.  The hymns were "Old Rugged Cross", "In The Garden" and the recessional hymn was "Amazing Grace".  The scripture readings were read by sister Edith Smith and nephew Devin Smith.  The Prayers of the People were proclaimed by grandchildren: Will, Cole, James, Joshua, Shyla and Caila.  A poem "My Mother Planted a Garden: was presented by daughters: Carole, Tina and Tammy.

The Urn Bearer was husband Ronald and Interment was held in St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery.
