Everett A. Walsh
1952 – 2022
Everett “Ev” Arthur Walsh, husband of Ruth (Dick) Walsh of Black River Bridge, NB, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones on Sunday, April 24th, 2022, at the age of 69.
Born in Chatham, New Brunswick, on October 14th, 1952, he was the son of Mae (Robie) Walsh and the late Byron Walsh.
Ev was a hard-working man. He was a dedicated employee of Irving’s for 30 plus years, along with other many truck driving jobs during his lifetime, with a willingness to take on any new challenge to get the job done. After putting in long hours from his paid job, he still found time to work the farm and most importantly time with his horses; working them and taking family and friends on countless horse rides. He could be known as a stubborn and difficult man at times, but one of the most caring and giving people you could meet, always willing to lend a hand to those in need, asking nothing in return. He loved his family unconditionally and did whatever it took to provide for them.
Ev will be dearly missed by; his wife, two sons: Jason (Nicole), and Nicholas (Stacy McIntyre), two daughters: Rachel (Freddy) Lavoie, and Ashley Walsh (Sebastien Martin) all of Black River Bridge; nine grandchildren: Samantha (Allan) Hetherington, Courtney Walsh (Kyle Nash), Brooklynn (Vince) Baird, Alexis, Aiden, Braeleigh, Charleigh Walsh, Dax, and Liam Walsh-Martin, and three great-grandchildren: Lincoln, Zoey, and Gracie-Rae; mother, Mae Walsh of Baie-Ste-Anne; four brothers: Paul Walsh (Vickie) of Ontario, Donnie Walsh (Debbie) of Ontario, Kenny Walsh (Janice) of Miramichi and Chris Walsh (Jana) of Gardiner’s Point; seven sisters: Dorothy Tracy (Bill) of Miramichi, Linda McCarthy (Jimmy) of Miramichi, Margaret Murphy (Pat) of Miramichi, Carmel Reynolds (Ron) of Fort McMurray, AB, Patsy Driscoll (Leonard) of Miramichi, Sandra Daly (Pat) of Moncton, and Tracy Walsh (Eymard) of Baie-Ste-Anne; as well as many cousins and special friends.
Ev has gone to join his son Matthew Walsh, father Byron Walsh, three brothers: Burt, Tommy, and Norman Walsh, along with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephew, and many others.
