In Loving Memory of Frances Mary Kenny
1926 – 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Frances Mary Kenny (Dinan), wife of the late Donald Francis Kenny of Miramichi, passed away surrounded by her family at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on June 16, 2023, at the age of 96.
Born in Chatham, NB, on September 9, 1926, she was the daughter of the late James Dinan and the late Mary Dinan (Robins). She was a loving Mother to her children. She was a dedicated employee, working at Russell’s Cleaners for 40 years. She also had a true love for bowling.
Mrs. Frances Mary Kenny is survived by her son, Paul D. Kenny (Johanne Lise Landry) of Irishtown, NB; her sister, Geraldine McCarthy (Herman) of Kanata, ON; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband; son, Donnie Kenny; two sisters: Shirley Ann, and Margaret; as well as three brothers: Jimmy, John, and Ray.
By request, there will be no visitation. A private graveside service will take place at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Miramichi, NB.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to CNIB (Canadian National Institute for the Blind) or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
