In Loving Memory of Gary (Bo) Thomas Taylor

January 10, 1954 - April 20, 2025

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Gary (Bo) Taylor of Miramichi, New Brunswick, surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at the age of 71.

Born in Nelson, Miramichi, New Brunswick, Gary was the son of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Collins) Taylor.

A devoted husband of 50 years to Betty (Carroll) Taylor, and a loving father to Gary Jr. Taylor (BJ) of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and Terri-Lynn Taylor of Miramichi, New Brunswick, he is also survived by a brother, Buddy (Donna) Taylor of Miramichi, New Brunswick, and three sisters, Judy MacLean (Ronnie), Debbie Lynch (Camille), and Shelly Dickson (Tony), all of Miramichi, New Brunswick, as well as four grandchildren, Chloe, Callie, Camryn, and Sidney.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Marsha-Lynn Taylor; four brothers, Norman Taylor, Donald Taylor, Warren Taylor, and Ernie Taylor; and three sisters, Penny Savoie, Margaret Savoy, and Donna Lynch.

Visitation was held at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, New Brunswick, on Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Michael’s Basilica, 10 Howard St., Miramichi, New Brunswick, on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with The Reverend Father John Fraser as Celebrant.  Music for the mass was provided by David Bonnell and Aaron Young.  The hymns were: "Here I Am Lord", "The Lord Is My Shepherd", "Seek Ye First", "On Eagle's Wings", "Be Not Afraid", "Songs Of The Angels".  The recessional hymn was "How Great Thou Art".  The scripture readings were read by Jessie Carroll and Dawn Lynch.  The Prayers of the Faithful were proclaimed by Dawn Lynch.  The Active Pallbearers were: Jack Carroll, Wade McLenaghan, Jerry Carroll, Danny Carroll, Frank Carroll, and Teddy Carroll.   Interment was in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Miramichi, New Brunswick. A reception was held in the church reception center following the Mass. 

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Percy’s Place would be appreciated by the family.
