George A. MacNaughton
1949 – 2021
George Alexander MacNaughton of Bathurst, and formerly of Black River Bridge, passed away at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst on May 3, 2021 at the age of 71.
Born in Black River Bridge on November 19, 1949, he was the son of the late Alexander and F. Lillian (Crowe) MacNaughton.
He is survived by one daughter, Natasha MacNaughton (Mario) of Sormany, NB; one son, Kevin MacNaughton of Miramichi; five grandchildren: Haily, Isabelle, Mario, Blake, and Ashton; and one sister, Barbara Wells of Miramichi. He was predeceased by his parents and brother John.
As per the family’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A PUBLIC graveside service will be held in the Black River Community Cemetery on Monday, June 28th, 2021 at 1 PM with Rev. David Allan officiating.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
