Georgina M. Losier
1938 – 2020
Georgina Mary Losier, wife of the late Peter Losier of Napan, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on March 14, 2020 at the age 82.
Born in Acadieville, NB, on January 6, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Frederic and Elise (Maillet) Caissie. She was a homemaker and in her later years worked in the Laundry dept. at the Hotel Dieu Hospital (Chatham). She attended St. Michael’s Basilica.
She is survived by two daughters: Joanne Jardine (Edgar) of Napan and Jacqueline Cuberovic (Nick) of Smithville, ON; two sons: Michael Losier of Napan and Gerald Losier of Edmonton, AB; eight grandchildren: Erica, Erin, James, Christina, Kyle, Stefani, Lauren and Evan; two great grandchildren: Wyatt and Hanna; six sisters and brothers: Elva of Rogersville, Roismond (Lorraine) of Moncton, Real of Rogersville, Rosa of Miramichi, Domin (Raymond) of Boston, Mass and Geannie of Miramichi. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Peter Losier, sisters Virginia and Rita.
As per Georgina’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service held. Interment will be held later in the spring.
