In Loving Memory of Geraldine Mullins
1946 – 2025
Geraldine Catherine Mullins of Miramichi, New Brunswick, passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 79.
Born in Chatham, New Brunswick, on March 29, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Hillarian and Frances (Thompson) Cook. Geraldine was a cook in various restaurants over the years. She attended St. Michael’s Basilica.
Geraldine is survived by three daughters, Darlene Scott (Clark), and Karen Lynch of Bathurst, New Brunswick. and Kelly Galley (Charles) of Miramichi, New Brunswick; one son, James Lynch of Napan, New Brunswick; six grandchildren, Shannon, Meghan, Cooper, Alicia, Krista, and Kailey; three great-grandchildren, Sydney, Ivy, and Sullivan; three sisters, Rose Robichaud Sweeney (Paul) of Miramichi, New Brunswick, Shirley Stewart of Strathadam, New Brunswick, and Elizabeth Flanaghan of Miramichi, New Brunswick; one brother, Reginald Cook (Barb) of Black River Bridge, New Brunswick; sisters-in-law: Annette, Claudine, Nini, and Elaine; special friend, Aurella; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; first husband, Charles Lynch; second husband, Frank Mullins; brothers, Michael, Kenneth, David, and Bernard; and half-brother, Leigh Thompson.
Visitation for family and friends was held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi on Monday, July 21, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with Funeral Liturgy of the Word followed at 2:00 p.m. from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, with The Reverend Father Antonio Reyes as Celebrant. Music for the service was recorded music and the songs were "Leaning On The Everlasting Arms" by Chris Rice and the recessional song was "Still Waters" by Leanna Crawford. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery, Miramichi, New Brunswick.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
