In Loving Memory of Glenice L. MacDonald
1951 – 2023
Glenice Leanne (Gillette) MacDonald, wife of Clarence MacDonald of Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on July 18, 2023, at the age of 72.
Born in Pickering, Ontario, on January 24, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Ross and Stella (Freedman) Gillette. Glenice worked for Hallmark Cards and then later for Canada Post.
Glenice is survived by her husband, Clarence MacDonald; two daughters: Stacy MacDonald (Richard Dorman) of Oshawa, ON, and Danielle MacDonald (Michael Smith) of Toronto, ON; one son, Sean MacDonald (Anya) of Barrie, ON; five grandchildren: Ashley, Sarah, Kayla, Brianna, and Aaliyah; nine great-grandchildren: Darrius, Miya, Mitchell, Malik, Koen, Vada, Frankie, Rosie, and Cairo; two sisters: Janet Marrow of Brace Bridge, ON, and Debbie Goldhawk of Sarnia, ON; one brother, Clayton Gillette of Owen Sound, ON; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; two sisters: Linda and Lorraine; and one brother, Jimmy.
At Glenice’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will be at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Miramichi SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
