H. Glen Baker
1953 - 2015
Miramichi – Glen Baker, passed away at the age of 62, after a brief illness at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Saturday, August 8, 2015.
Pre-deceased by his parents Arthur and Lydia Baker. Born in North West Brook, NL. Glen is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn (Churchill), his children, grandchildren, brother and sisters. Glen will be sadly missed by his extended family, many friends , and all of his Tim Horton's coffee friends.
Formerly of Labrador City, Glen was a retired employee of the Iron Ore Co. of Canada (a member of local United Steel Workers 5795); and a member of the Tamarack Golf Club. Glen and Marilyn have enjoyed residing in Miramichi for the past year.
Visitation was held at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Tuesday, August 11th, 2015. Following visitation, a time of fellowship with the family will be held in Emmanuel United Church, North West Brook, NL, on Sunday, August 16th, 2015, from 4 pm until the time of the service, at 5 pm, at Emmanuel United Church. Interment at the United Church Cemetery, Hodge's Cove, NL, following the service.
