Herman Douglas Thebeau of Miramichi, NB, passed away at Shannex-Losier Hall, on October 17, 2024, at the age of 84.
Born in Escuminac, NB, on March 5, 1940, Herman Douglas Thebeau was the son of the late Douglas and Ethel (Jimmo) Thebeau.
Herman was a Fisherman for close to 40 years. He was a member of the former Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, Escuminac, NB.
Herman is survived by his sisters: Muriel Lamkey, and Sheila Thompson, both of Miramichi; brother, Weldon Russell (Cheryl) of Black River Bridge, NB; as well as nieces and nephews: Donna, Kenneth, Keith, Paul, Dawn (Caregiver of Herman), Dana, Rob, and Melanie.
Herman was predeceased by his parents; sister, Alice Gibbs; and nephew, Bradley Russell.
A PUBLIC Graveside Service occurred at the Escuminac Cemetery, Escuminac, NB, on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 2 PM, with Monique Martin presiding (Member of the Catholic Funeral Committee). The Eulogy was presented by Dawn MacDonald. The Honorary Pallbearers were: Paul Thebeau, Rob Lamkey, Kenneth Gibbs, Keith Gibbs, Mona Lloyd, and Donna Doucet.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to CNIB (Canadian National Institute of the Blind), or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
