James “Andy” McLeod

        1935 – 2021

James Andrew “Andy” McLeod of Miramichi and formerly of Bay du Vin, passed away at the Bridgeview Hall, Miramichi on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the age of 85.

Born in Bay du Vin, on October 25, 1935, he was the son of the late Elmer and Helen (Williston) McLeod.  He was a Fisherman, and a member of St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Bay du Vin.

Andy is survived by his Aunt Anna Williston as well as  many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by his parents; sister, Bessie; and brother, George.

Visitation and funeral service was held at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Bay du Vin on Thursday, April 8, 2021 with The Rev. Robert Barry, The Rev. Thomas Nisbett, The Rev. Canon Gerry Laskey and The Rev. Deacon Rose Steeves officiating.  The organist for the service was Dawn Bell.

The pallbearers were Regis Carroll, Wayne Gulliver, Teddy Williston, Ron Reid, Gerald Williston and Lawrence Bransfield.  Interment will be held in St. John the Evangelist Anglican Cemetery later in the spring.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
