Janet L. Stewart
1954 – 2022
It is with great sadness, the family of Janet Louise Stewart announce her passing at her home in Doaktown, NB on January 16, 2022, after a long hard battle with cancer.
She attended Doaktown Pentecostal Church for many years.
With a heavy heart, Janet left behind her daughter, Dawn-Marie Murphy (Nathan Catlin) of Durham Bridge, NB; her much loved grandchildren: Peyton and Preston Gillespie; her fur grandbabies: Matlock, Sunday and Rusty; sisters and brothers: Bernice & Delbert Arbeau of Doaktown, Rev. Hayward & Winnifred Stewart of Doaktown, Paul and Audrey Stewart of Doaktown, Thelma and Charlie Carter of Kouchibouguac, William & Barbara Stewart of Doaktown, Karen & Dwight Dunnett of Doaktown, Rev. Donald & Susan Stewart of Medford, OR, and Kimberly Stewart & Michael of Hoyt; sister-in-law, Wendy Stewart of Toronto, ON; chosen sister, Cassie Kervin; nieces and nephews: Angela, Brent (Angel), Randy (Karri), Starsky, Scott (Naomi), Aaron (Stacy), Ric, Darrah, Cameron, Connor (Jamie) and Caden; several great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Hilda & Clayton Stewart; brother, Rev. Rick Stewart; sister, Margaret; as well as her maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.
At the request of the family there was no visitation held. A graveside service was held at the First Pentecostal Church Cemetery, Doaktown on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 1 PM with Rev. Hayward Stewart, Rev. Jack Leaman, and Rev. Donald Stewart officiating. Music for the service was provided by soloist and accordion player, Naomi Stewart. The Honorary Pallbearers were: Thelma Carter, Isabel Wilson, Anne McKeil, Julia Robinson, Cassie Kervin and Nathan Catlin. Active Pallbearers were: Brent, Randy, Starsky, Scott, Cameron and Courtenay.

Please be advised of the Government of New Brunswick requirements that every person must wear a mask outdoors if within 2 meters of persons from outside their household steady 10.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the First Pentecostal Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
