John A. Mills
1941 – 2022
John Archie Mills, husband of the late Eileen (McGrath) Mills of Miramichi passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on March 9, 2022, at the age of 80.
Born in Black River Bridge, on March 20, 1941, he was the son of the late Allan and Annie (Dickson) Mills. He worked at carpentry for most of his life.
John is survived by one daughter, June Ranson (Bill Savoy) of Miramichi; four sons: Joey O’Brien (Sandy) of Rexton, Danny O’Brien (Diane) of Ottawa, John Wayne O’Brien (Janique Potvin) of Ottawa, and Andy Mills of Saint John; as well as ten grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Eileen; two sisters: May and Lily; and three brothers: Billy, Jimmy and Andy.
At John’s request there will be no visitation. A PUBLIC graveside service will occur at Black River Community Cemetery at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
