In Loving Memory of John “Jack” McLenaghan
1953 – 2026
John “Jack” Wendell McLenaghan of Miramichi, New Brunswick, passed away at the Islandview Special Care Home, on March 25, 2026, at the age of 73.
Born in Chatham, New Brunswick, on February 6, 1953, he was the son of the late Wathen and Sadie (Watling) McLenaghan.
Jack is survived by one son, Jonathan McLenaghan of Moncton, New Brunswick; two daughters, Jill McLenaghan (Dale) of Miramichi, New Brunswick, and Charity Neilson (Yvon St. Pierre) of Grande Prairie, Alberta; six grandchildren: Colby, Annie, Evan and Collin McLenaghan, Abbygail and Layla St. Pierre; two sisters, Jane Chapman (Jim) of Miramichi, New Brunswick, and Audrey Gulliver (George) of Cocagne, New Brunswick; and one brother, Bob McLenaghan (Christina) of Napan, New Brunswick. Jack was predeceased by his parents; daughter, Tanya Lynn; brother, Roy; niece, Natalie; and nephew, Boyd.
At the request of the family, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Cemetery later in the spring.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
