1951 – 2021
Joyce Marie Carter, wife of Terrance Carter of Riverview, formerly of Miramichi, passed away at the Moncton City Hospital on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at the age of 69.
Born in Chatham, on July 19, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Grace (Savoy) Jenkins.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Terry Carter; son, Christopher Carter; daughter, Carolyn Carter (Murray); beloved niece, Amy Jenkins; sister, Lynn (Steve); brothers: Robert, Richard (Rachel), Danny, Jimmy (Wendy), Glenn (Theresa); and many more nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; infant brother, Charlie; sister, Beverly; and her best-ever dog, Patches.
As per family’s request there was no visitation. A graveside service was held for family and friends at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Miramichi on July 23rd, at 2:00 PM, with Father John Keoughan as Celebrant.
