1938 – 2025
June Jimmo, wife of Chlorn Jimmo of Escuminac, New Brunswick, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on January 15, 2025, at the age of 86.
Born in Hardwicke, New Brunswick, on July 11, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Violet (MacLean) MacDonald. She was a Homemaker.
June is survived by her husband, Chlorn Jimmo; one daughter, Connie McIntyre (Mike) of Escuminac, NB; three sons: Edmund Jimmo (Juliette) of Baie-Sainte-Anne, NB, Rocky Jimmo of Calgary, AB, and Guy Jimmo (Kim) of Edmonton, AB; thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorca Lloyd (Leonard) of Bay du Vin, NB; one brother, Graham MacDonald (Ruth) of Hardwicke, NB; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, sisters: Connie, Audrey, and Shirley, brothers: Louis, Neil, Jackie, and Kenny.
A visitation was held at the Sister Blondine Martin Slumber Room, Sainte-Anne Catholic Church, 5353 Route 117, Baie-Sainte-Anne, NB, on Monday, January 20, 2025, from 1-3 PM, followed by a small service from the Sister Blondine Martin Slumber Room at 3 PM, with The Reverend Mark Robertson, and The Reverend Brent Carter officiating. Music included "The River" sung by Brian Doerksen. Remembrances were presented by Anna Jimmo.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
