In Loving Memory of June A. Ross
1941 – 2023
June Annabelle Ross, wife of the late Frank E. Ross of Napan, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on September 11, 2023, at the age of 82.
Born in Chatham, NB, on June 24, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Burton and Myrtle (Good) Bremner. June was a retired School Teacher. She was also a member of the Carmel United Church, the UCW, and was the Church Organist and Choir Director of Carmel United Church and St. Stephen’s United Church for 27 years.
June is survived by her son, Ian Ross (Yeji) of Kanata, ON; two grandchildren: Sadie and Clara Ross, and one sister, Doris Bremner of Napan. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Frank Ross.
By June’s request there was no visitation. A Memorial Service was held at Carmel United Church, 795 South Napan Rd., on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 11 AM with The Reverend David Allan as Officiant. Music for the service was provided by Barbara Somers and the Loggieville-Black River joint choir. They hymns were: "Til the Storm Passes By", "I Know Who Holds Tomorrow", "In the Garden", and "His Eye Is on the Sparrow". Memorial Candles were lit by Sadie and Clara Ross. The Scripture Readers were Ann Knowles, and Lloyd Mills. The Honorary Pallbearers were: Janet Cobb, Merle Ellis, John Knowles, Michael Lahey, Bud Shaw, and Mark Taylor. Interment was in Pine Grove Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
