In Loving Memory of Justin Todd Dickson

1987 – 2025

It is with broken hearts that we announce the death of our cherished son and brother, Justin Todd Dickson.

Justin was born on April 18th, 1987. He had a beautiful and gentle soul, was kind and empathetic, and would give the shirt off his back to help anyone. He was a hard worker and could work at any job that he put his mind to. He enjoyed fishing, reading, video games, music, and took a great interest in nurturing his many plants. He was an animal lover, and animals sure loved him.

Justin struggled with addiction and mental health issues for most of his life, and we struggled along with him and supported him. Through the fog of addiction, our sweet boy was still there, and we are so broken that his addiction took him from us. We are comforted by the fact that he is now at peace, and we ask that people be kind and understanding to those that struggle with this terrible disease.

Justin is survived by his loving parents, Lisa and Mike Knowles, his adoring brother, Christopher (Seth), his uncle, Matthew Hanna (Julie), who was like a brother to him, his uncles, Rick Knowles (Jody) and Darren Knowles (Tricia), his aunt, Monica Dickson MacDonald (Dave), his aunt, Chrissy Dickson, his aunt, Sherry Corkum (Calvin), his grandparents, Sandra and Wilfred Knowles, Anna and Roland Dickson, and Thomas Hanna, as well as many great aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. We, as a family, are so grateful to his friends, Chris and Annika, for supporting and loving him the past few years.

Justin was predeceased by his father, Todd Roland Dickson; his nanny, Marilyn Hanna; and his aunts, Lori Dawn (Hanna) Browne and Dawn (Dickson) Stroud.

In keeping with Justin’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in his memory can be made to the Miramichi SPCA or any Mental Health and Addictions charity.
