In Loving Memory of Kandace Harris
1996 – 2024
Kandace Hazel Katherine Harris of Vancouver, BC, and formerly of Miramichi, NB, passed away in Vancouver, BC, on March 15, 2024, at the age of 27.
Born in Miramichi, NB, on May 20, 1996, she was the daughter of Terry and Rachel (Harris) Crawford.
Kandace is survived by her parents Terry and Rachel Crawford of Blackville; one daughter, Payton Lynn “Paytie” Harris-Quann of Napan; one son, Carter Harris of Miramichi; one brother, Kolby Crawford (Ashton) of Blackville, two half-brothers: Jessie Watling, and James Watling of Black River Bridge; maternal grandmother, Theresa Harris of Miramichi; paternal grandmother, Shirley Crawford of Miramichi; paternal grandfather, William Crawford of Blackville; niece, Kenley; nephew, Kolton; many aunts; uncles, and several loving cousins whom she was closely connected with.
Kandace was predeceased by her grandfather, Burpee Harris.
Visitation was held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi on Friday, April 5, 2024, from 2-4 PM, followed by a funeral service at 4 PM from Adams Funeral Home Chapel with The Reverend Keith Carter as Officiant. The processional recorded hymn was "In the Garden" by Alan Jackson, followed by "Amazing Grace" sung acapella by Cheryl Cormier. "Go Rest High on That Mountain" was performed by Matthew Stewart. The recessional recorded hymn was "How Great Though Art" by Alan Jackson. The Scripture Readings were read by Terri Cormier and Cheryl Cormier. The Eulogy was by Terri Cormier and Cheryl Cormier. Interment will be in the Black River Community Cemetery later in the spring.
As expressions of sympathy, donations made to Addictions and Mental Health Services would be appreciated by the family.
