A Heartfelt Thank You from the Family of Leo Anthony Sullivan
The family of the late Leo Anthony Sullivan extends our deepest gratitude to all who offered their love, kindness, and support during the loss of our cherished husband, father, and grandfather. Leo was a man of warmth, humour, and quiet strength — a presence that brought comfort and joy to many. He will be forever loved and deeply missed.
To our neighbours and dear friends — thank you for surrounding us with care during this difficult time. Your visits, thoughtful gestures, and the many delicious meals brought to our home meant more than words can express. The stories and memories of Leo you shared — full of laughter, compassion, and pride — were a true reflection of the man he was and brought us great comfort.
We are especially grateful to the Knights of Columbus Council 1219 for your support, guidance, and meaningful presence during the funeral. Your tribute honoured Leo’s life and legacy in a way we will never forget.
Thank you to Father David Rioux of Saint Michael’s the Archangel Basilica for your gentle leadership and the beautiful, faith-filled funeral service. Your words carried the peace and love of God, and they will remain with us always.
We also extend our sincere thanks to Adam’s Funeral Home for respectfully carrying out Leo’s final wishes with care and professionalism.
To Dr. Gerard Losier, Dr. Shawn Losier, and the dedicated nurses and staff of the Miramichi Regional Hospital — thank you for your compassionate care and attention to Leo throughout his time with you. Your kindness did not go unnoticed.
We will forever hold close the stories of Leo’s humour, generosity, and strength — shared by friends, family, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a truly great man — a devoted husband, a proud father and grand-dad, and a loyal friend.
With heartfelt thanks,
The Family of Leo A. Sullivan

It is with profound sadness that the family of Leo Anthony Sullivan announces his sudden passing on July 6, 2025, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital.
Born on May 15, 1945, to the late Anthony and Dorthy (Power) Sullivan, Leo lived a life rooted in faith, service, and deep devotion to his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary Janet (Fraser), and their three sons: Shawn (Jodi), Kevin (Chancey), and Brian. Leo was a proud granddad to Anthony, Annabella, Daniel, Harrison, and Owen, who brought great joy to his life.
Leo is predeceased by his parents; his in-laws, Donald and Marjorie Fraser; and his beloved son, Anthony Donald Sullivan.

Leo will be remembered for his quiet strength, unwavering commitment to those he loved, and the legacy of kindness he leaves behind.
The family would like to thank Dr. Sean Losier, Dr. Gerard Losier, and the Miramichi Regional Hospital staff who took great care of Leo.
