Linda Bremner Obituary

In Loving Memory of Linda Bremner

1948 – 2025

Linda Bremner, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 23rd at the age of 77. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Born on May 11, 1948, in Chatham, New Brunswick, to Robert and Isabel Weldon, Linda was a devoted wife, a compassionate mother, a cherished grandmother, sister and friend. She will be remembered for always having a cup of tea in her hands and making sure there was always food for everyone who came through the door. Her life was a testament to her love for her family, and her passion for skating, gardening, scrapbooking and watching her grandsons play hockey.

She is survived by her husband, David of 58 years; her children, Heather (Trevor), Kathy, and Carla (Brian); her grandchildren: Shaylin (Andrew), Matthew, Kate, Cameron, Cole, and Chase; and her great granddaughter, Roslyn; sister, Norma; and brother, Graham; along with nephews Robert and Stephen and families.

Her special friends and visitors will never be forgotten, and she cherished the title of honourary mom/gamma to many. Many thanks to the nursing staff at 1 East and Percy’s Place who gave comfort to her over each medical hurdle she endured.

A graveside service celebrating Linda’s life was held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Pine Grove Cemetery in Loggieville, with The Reverend Charlene Maguire MacKnight officiating. Music for the service was provided by Bill Hachey and the eulogy was presented by daughter, Heather.  A reception followed at the family home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Percy’s Place in her memory.

Arrangements were entrusted to Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, New Brunswick, telephone (506) 773-3492.  Memories and condolences may be shared online at www.adamsfh.ca
