In Loving Memory of Lori A. Hay, R.N.

1953 – 2025

Lori Ann Hay, R.N., of Miramichi, New Brunswick, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on July 26, 2025, at the age of 71.

Born in Picton, Ontario, on November 25, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Marilyn (Juniper) Hay.  Lori was a Registered Nurse and retired after 30 years.  She attended The Point Church (Newcastle) and enjoyed Ladies Bible Study.  She was a member of the Retired RN’s Group.

Lori is survived by her husband, Mike Gadou; two sons, Michael Rochon (Natasha), and Richard Gadou; sister, Diana Gauvin; seven grandchildren, Leslye, Stephanie, Samantha, Jessica, Emily, Justin, and Gregory; six great-grandchildren, Jacob, Evan, John, James, Logan, and Keira.  She was predeceased by her parents; two daughters, infant Cheryl Lynn Hay and Cheryl Dianne Boucher.

By Lori’s request, there was no visitation.  A Celebration of Lori’s Life was held at Adams Funeral Home Chapel, 140 King St., Miramichi, New Brunswick, on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Geoff McLean as Officiant.  Music for the service included recorded songs "Amazing Grace" by Home Free, "How Great Thou Art" by Home Free and "In The Garden" by Alan Jackson.  Memories were shared by Leslye Boucher, and Patsy Stewart. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery, Miramichi, New Brunswick.
