In Loving Memory of Lorne Angus Mitchell MacLean
1947 – 2025
Lorne Angus Mitchell MacLean of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away at Gracevilla, Hamilton, Ontario, on January 29, 2025, at the age of 77.
Born in Napan, New Brunswick, on May 31, 1947, he was the son of the late Mitchell and Eliza (Blakely) MacLean. He was a Carpenter by trade throughout his working life.
Lorne is survived by his children, Tanya MacLean (Darren MacDonald), and Christopher MacLean (Cindy), both of Miramichi, New Brunswick; sister, Edna Boutillier of Fredericton, New Brunswick; his grandchildren: Mandy, Cameron, Erika, and Ashton; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and his siblings: Agnes, Ruby, Bliss, Colin, Yvonne, and George.
A graveside service took place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Miramichi, New Brunswick, on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 1 PM, with The Reverend Ross Wiseman as Officiant. Scripture readings and a reflection were given by The Reverend Ross Wiseman. Recorded music was played and included "What a Friend We have in Jesus" by Kenny Rogers, and "Amazing Grace" by Charlie Pride.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Miramichi SPCA or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
