Mary E. Mazerolle

   1954 – 2022

Mary Eleanor Mazerolle of Miramichi, passed away at her residence on September 26, 2022, at the age of 68.

Born in Saint John, NB, on April 30, 1954, she was the daughter of the late George and Etta (Mitchell) Hickey.  Mary retired from the Saint John Regional Hospital in the Administration Department.

She is survived by her common-law partner, Merle Hachey; one son, Mike Raeburn (Krista) of Fredericton; two sisters: Brenda Ernst (Peter) of Rothesay, NB, and Wanda Letson (Richard) of Quispamsis, NB; two brothers: Raymond (JR) Hickey (Ann-Marie) of Lethbridge, AB, and Paul Hickey (Ann) of Toronto, ON; one sister-in-law, Susan Hickey of Saint John, NB; as well as nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Lorraine; and brother, Daryl.

A private Celebration of Mary’s Life for family and friends will occur on October 1, 2022, from 2-4 PM at the home of Merle Hachey.  Please contact Merle for details.  No funeral service will be held.  Interment will occur at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
