In Loving Memory of G. “May” Losier

1926 – 2026

 

Gladys “May” Losier of Miramichi, New Brunswick, passed away at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, New Brunswick, on February 5, 2026, at the age of 99.

 

Born in Chatham, New Brunswick on June 7, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Freda (Ashford) LeBreton. 

 

May is survived by her son, Stephen Losier (Judy) of Miramichi, New Brunswick; three grandchildren: Janet, Judy, and Suzanna; seven great-grandchildren: Damian, Jaelyn, Cameron, Dylan, Allie, Charlotte, and Violet; as well as many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Leo Losier; two sons: Richard (Edith) and George; sister, Marion; and brothers: William, Raymond, Alexander, and George.

 

At the request of the family, there was no visitation.  A funeral service was held at Adams Funeral Home Chapel, 140 King St., Miramichi, New Brunswick on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., with The Reverend Ross Wiseman officiating.  Music for the service was provided by Joanne Wiseman and the hymns were "Here I Am Lord", "Amazing Grace" and "Old Rugged Cross".  Special Music was by Shepherd Arbeau and the hymns were "Some Call It Heaven" and "God Of The Mountain".  The scripture readings was read by Debbie Ryan, Suzanna Arseneault, Janet Losier and Judy Losier.  The honorary pallbearers were Jackie LeBreton, Sheila Ryan, Damian Taylor, Cathy Ryan, Ricky Russell, Patsy Russell, Carl & Mavis Cable, Debbie Ryan, Shepherd & Shirley Arbeau, Mark Savoy, Wanda MacDonald, Linda MacLean, Sharon Barrieau, Theresa Harris, Lucille Somers, Buddy & Francis Blakeley, Johnny & Darlene Ryan, April LeBreton, Glenda Ryan, Elsie Mazerolle and Sandra Knowles.  Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery later in the spring.

 

As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
