In Loving Memory of Michael Sharp

1944 – 2026

Michael Victor Sharp of Miramichi, New Brunswick, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on March 29, 2026, at the age of 82.

Born in Leigh-On-Sea, Essex, England, on January 21, 1944, he was the son of the late Hector and Florence (Stephens) Sharp.  Michael worked at numerous sales and managerial positions over 35 years.

Michael is survived by his wife, Gillian Sharp; daughter, Lisa Sharp of United States; son, Darrell Steele of Ontario; grandchildren: Gwen Steele, Kristy and Skylar Howell, Stevie Hitchcock, Dawson Steele, Breanna and Hailey Howell; sister, Suzanne Black of Ontario; and brothers, Glen Sharp and Gary Sharp of Florida.  He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Brian Sharp.

At Michael’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  Interment will take place in Ontario at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to World Vision Canada would be appreciated by the family.
