In Loving Memory of Michele L. (Sweeney) Allain

1967 – 2025

 

Michele Lynn (Sweeney) Allain of Miramichi, New Brunswick, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on November 30, 2025, at the age of 58.

 

Born in Chatham, New Brunswick, on November 27, 1967, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Delcia (Thibodeau) Sweeney.  She attended St. Michael’s Basilica.

 

Michele is survived by three daughters: Karie (Jade Kent) of Napan, New Brunswick, Kylie (Chris Mahoney), and Kaitlin (Andre Mazerolle), all of Miramichi, New Brunswick; seven grandchildren: Leah, Jace, Bentley, Ava, Nate, Rayna, and Jazlyn; one sister, Tammy Malley (Robert) of Napan, New Brunswick; and one brother, Michael Sweeney (Barbara) of Dalhousie, New Brunswick; as well as two nieces: Jenna and Sophia. She was predeceased by her parents.

 

As per Michele’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral mass.  A graveside prayer will be held at St. Michael’s Cemetery later in the spring of 2026.

 

As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
