Morris L. Jardine

  1932 – 2019

Morris Leonard Jardine, husband of Norma (Dickson) Jardine of Napan, NB passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Monday, September 9, 2019 at the age of 86.

Born in Chatham, on December 9, 1932, he was the son of the late Mackenzie (Mack) and Ruby (Taylor) Jardine.  He was employed with Dominion Engineering Works of Montreal for 45 years as an Erector and Service Rep. in the Pulp and Paper Industry and also Hydro Electric Power.  After his retirement he moved back to Napan, where he enjoyed fly fishing with Keith Taylor and many friends.  He enjoyed attending the Napan Agricultural Show with his brother Ralph and sister-in-law Macrena.  He loved gardening and working with his brother Mervyn in the hard-wood lots.

He is survived by his loving wife Norma (Dickson) Jardine; one daughter, Cindy and Leo of Quebec; one son, Richard (Rick) of Quebec; one brother, Ralph (Macrena) Jardine of Napan; sister-in-law Claire of Napan; grandchildren: Christina, Marc, Kate and Lauren and great granddaughter Thea.  He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Mervyn Jardine.

There was no visitation held at the funeral home.  A public graveside service was held at Pine Grove Cemetery on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 11 am with Rev. Charlene Maguire MacKnight officiating.
