In her younger years, Myrtle was actively involved in the UCW, in which she actively participated in church suppers and other events in the community. She was always there to lend a helping hand. She loved spending quality time with family. She loved playing cards, going to Bingo, playing scratch tickets, along with watching her favourite shows, which included The Price is Right, Let’s Make a Deal, and Jeopardy.

In later years, she was able to enjoy her home and activities through the unwavering and excellent care from her caregiver, Ellen Donovan. She enjoyed many drives, outings to see her sister, Evelyn, getting her hair cut, and many meals at Scholten’s. The family wishes to extend their thanks to Ms. Donovan.
