Nancy Lynn Davis
1953-2022
Nancy Lynn Davis, the wife of William “Bill” Davis of Miramichi, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 10, 2022, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 68.
Born on December 22, 1953, in Chicoutimi, Quebec, Nancy was the daughter of Vernon Naugler and the late Inez (Peters) Naugler. Nancy was a beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. Her grandchildren were her world, her everything. She was a School Teacher, Editor of the former CFB Chatham Base Newspaper “ChatAir”, and retired as a Data Processor with the federal Canadian Firearms Registry. She was also a member of the Chatham Lioness club for many years. Nancy was raised as an air force brat, living in numerous places across Canada and Europe, but settled on the Miramichi. Besides her family and friends, Nancy loved bingo, painting, crafting, and ceramics. Nancy was honest and trustworthy, and always told it like it was. She had a real authentic personality and will be greatly missed by those close to her.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 47 years, Bill; her daughter, Lindsay Tucker (Matthew) of Miramichi; her son, Stephen Davis (Kate) of Miramichi, and her five adored grandchildren: Launa, Benjamin, Logan, Bradley, and Charlee. She is also survived by her father, Vernon “Bud” Naugler of Miramichi; her loving sister, Heather Boyle (Pat) of Miramichi; and two aunts: Cheryl Eisnor and Ruth Baker, both of Bridgewater, NS as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother, Inez.
