In Loving Memory of Nathan A. Catlin

1991 – 2023

Nathan Allan Catlin, husband of Dawn-Marie Murphy-Catlin of Doaktown, NB, passed away on October 10, 2023.

Nathan was a Heavy Equipment Mechanic and was very proud to start and run his own company—Catlin Mechanical.  He loved the outdoors and especially four-wheeling.  He truly loved and cared about being with family and friends.

Nathan is survived by his wife, Dawn-Marie; chosen sons: Preston and Peyton (Jill); fur babies: Sunday, Matlock, and Rusty; mother, Kathlyn Ryckman; father, John Catlin; brother, Jay (Lauren); nephews & niece: Harvey, Lincoln and Brooklyn; grandmother, Loraine Ryckman and father-in-law, Bob Murphy (Gwen).  He was predeceased by his chosen mother, Janet Stewart; and grandparents: John Catlin, Elizabeth Catlin and Warren Ryckman.

There will be no visitation.  A Celebration of Life was held at Adams Funeral Home Chapel, 140 King St., Miramichi, NB, on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 6 PM with Keith Carter officiating.  Music for the service was provided by Naomi Stewart and the hymn sung was “Amazing Grace”

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Miramichi SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
